Why link to the shop chat?

The system needs to know who the commenting TikTok account is in the shop chat, so it can send you the order summary and payment link.

A comment in a TikTok live becomes an order only when your TikTok account is linked to the shop chat through LINE OA or Messenger. If it is not linked, a product-code comment creates no order and gets no reply.

FAQ

Do I need to link every time I watch a live?

No. Link once per shop and just comment product codes in later lives, unless you switch to a different TikTok account.

I commented a product code but got no order and no reply

That TikTok account isn't linked to the shop chat yet, so the system doesn't know where to send the summary. Link with method 1 or 2, then comment again.

What's the difference between @username and display name?

The display name is the big name on your profile, e.g. "Mint Shopping". The @username starts with @ and sits under your profile picture, e.g. "@mint.cf". Send the @username in the chat.

The link says "the system didn't receive your TikTok info"

Tap the link again and make sure your TikTok profile picture is set. If it still fails, use method 2 and send your @username in the shop chat.

I want to use a different TikTok account

Tap "change account" on the connect page, or send the new account's @username in the shop chat.

Can I order without linking?

Yes, by typing product codes directly in the shop chat. Comments in the TikTok live won't become orders until you link.

What can the shop see about me?

The system only asks TikTok for basic profile info (name, profile picture and username) to match comments to the chat. It can't post for you, read your messages or access your password.
