Go live on TikTok + Facebook + IG at once without double-selling

This guide is for shops that have grown to the point where one live channel is not enough. You want to go live on several channels at once to reach every customer, but you worry about double-selling, stock that does not add up and not answering customers fast enough. I will explain how to set things up so every channel pulls from the same inventory and all orders land in one place, so you can run multi-channel lives with peace of mind. It is an 8-minute read.

Steps

1Connect every channel to a single shop

First, bring every channel under a single shop in CF-Shops: TikTok, your Facebook Page and Instagram. The most obvious benefit is that customers from any channel are handled in one place, with no switching back and forth between three screens. I have seen many shops that go live on several channels but log orders in separate notebooks, and it ends up messy with orders falling through the cracks. Connecting everything to one place from the start removes that problem entirely.

2Use the same inventory and CF codes on every channel

Set up one set of product codes shared across all channels: one product, one code. Whether the customer types it on TikTok or on your Page, the system sees it as the same item in the same inventory. This is the key to never double-selling, because every channel draws stock from the same pool. When an item sells out, it sells out on every channel at once, instead of each channel keeping its own count.

3Turn on capture together and let the system combine orders

Once you are live, turn on comment capture for each channel at the same time. Comments from every channel flow into one page, in real-time order. Your packers look in one place and that is it, with no running between apps. At peak times, when comments pour in from three channels at once, this helps the most, because your eyes stay on a single list.

4Let stock deduct in real time to prevent overselling

When every channel uses the same inventory, each order reduces stock instantly for all channels. Say there is only one item left: whoever types first gets it, and the other channel shows it as sold out automatically. You no longer have to apologise to customers later that the item was already gone but you had just taken their order. The overselling problem that costs you loyal customers disappears.

5Choose where to send order summaries for each group of customers

Customers on each channel chat in different places. You can choose to send order summaries via your Facebook Page or LINE OA. Customers who came from your Page get their summary in Page chat, and those who prefer LINE get it on LINE, with no forcing everyone onto one channel. The more customers receive messages where they are comfortable, the more likely they are to pay quickly.

6Close sales and view combined reports from one place

When the lives on every channel have ended, sales from all three channels are combined on one page. You can see at a glance which channel sold well today and which products moved, then close sales, verify slips and generate tracking numbers from the same place. No more adding up totals from three places late at night. With your data in one place, planning the next live gets much easier.

Common mistakes

Setting up different product codes on each channel, so the system treats them as different items, stock does not deduct consistently and you end up overselling. Fix it by using one shared set of CF codes on every channel from the start.

Going live on three channels with only one person answering customers, so when comments arrive all at once they cannot keep up and customers drop off. Fix it by assigning someone to each channel and having everyone work from the same combined order list.

Ending the live on one channel but forgetting to turn off capture for it, so old comments or late viewers turn into stray orders. Fix it by turning off capture on every channel as soon as the live ends.
