TikTok Shop GP fees in 2026: how to calculate them and what each order really costs
The sales figure on your storefront is not the money your shop receives. Every order on TikTok Shop and other marketplaces has commission, transaction fees and service fees taken out, which together usually come to roughly 22–30% of the sale, what Thai sellers call "GP". This article explains what GP is made of, how to calculate it, how much your shop actually keeps at different sales levels, and when closing orders through your own channels makes more sense.
What TikTok Shop GP is and what it is made of
When online sellers talk about GP, they mean the share the platform takes from each order. It is not just commission: transaction fees and other service fees are stacked on top. Added together, they usually fall somewhere around 22–30% of the sale. The real figure differs from shop to shop, depending on the product category, the campaigns or programmes the shop joins, and the platform's policy at the time, which can change at any point. That is why this article does not list rates by category. Always check the rate your shop is actually charged in TikTok Shop Seller Center.
How to calculate GP and what your shop really keeps
1Find your shop's total GP rate in Seller Center
Open the settlement details of a recent order in TikTok Shop Seller Center and add up everything deducted: commission, transaction fee and service fees. Divide that by the order's sale amount to get the total GP rate you can work with. Check several orders across different categories, because the rate may not be the same.
2GP paid = sales × GP rate
Example: this month's sales are 100,000 baht. If your total GP rate is 26%, the GP you pay is 100,000 × 0.26 = 26,000 baht. At 22% it would be 22,000 baht, and at 30% it would be 30,000 baht. The gap between the low and high end of the band is 8,000 baht a month on the same sales.
3Amount received = sales − GP
Using the same example, 100,000 baht in sales minus 26,000 baht GP leaves 74,000 baht for the shop. That is the money paid out to you before product cost, not your profit.
4Real profit = amount received − product cost, packaging and any shipping you pay
Many shops calculate profit from the full sales figure, then wonder why there is no money left. Start from what you receive after GP, then subtract every cost. If a product's gross margin is lower than the GP rate you are charged, every extra sale loses you more money.
Worked examples: monthly sales × GP of 22% / 26% / 30%
| Monthly sales | GP rate | GP paid | Amount the shop receives |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50,000 baht | 22% | 11,000 baht | 39,000 baht |
| 50,000 baht | 26% | 13,000 baht | 37,000 baht |
| 50,000 baht | 30% | 15,000 baht | 35,000 baht |
| 100,000 baht | 22% | 22,000 baht | 78,000 baht |
| 100,000 baht | 26% | 26,000 baht | 74,000 baht |
| 100,000 baht | 30% | 30,000 baht | 70,000 baht |
| 300,000 baht | 22% | 66,000 baht | 234,000 baht |
| 300,000 baht | 26% | 78,000 baht | 222,000 baht |
| 300,000 baht | 30% | 90,000 baht | 210,000 baht |
These figures are worked examples using the 22–30% band only. They are not official TikTok Shop rates. Real rates depend on category, campaign and current platform policy. Check your shop's rate in TikTok Shop Seller Center.
Closing orders through your own channels: no GP, but a system fee instead
If your shop sells through its own lives, such as a Facebook Page, TikTok Live with CF comment capture, Instagram or LINE OA, and closes orders itself with CF-Shops, those sales carry no marketplace GP. What you pay instead is a CF-Shops plan, which is a fixed or per-item cost rather than a percentage of sales: Credit S at 1,070 baht, pay per use (1 item = 1 baht, 1 slip = 1 baht); Monthly at 2,899 baht with unlimited items; or Yearly at 21,999 baht. There is no setup fee and a free 7-day trial. As a simple comparison, at 100,000 baht in monthly sales, GP in the 22–30% band is 22,000–30,000 baht, while the Monthly plan stays at 2,899 baht however much sales grow. This does not include advertising or other costs your shop may take on to bring viewers to its own lives.
1Money goes straight to your shop's account
Customers transfer directly to your shop's bank account, with no waiting for a platform payout cycle, so cash comes back faster to restock for the next round.
2Automatic slip verification
The system checks the amount on each slip against your shop's account, catching fake slips, duplicate slips and short transfers without an admin checking them one by one.
3Tracking numbers and shipping labels in one place
Connect J&T, Flash, KEX, SPX, Thailand Post, Best and SHIPPOP to issue tracking numbers and print shipping labels from one system.
Should you stop selling on TikTok Shop?
Not necessarily. Marketplaces offer something your own channels cannot: people discover your products through recommendations and search, which brings in new customers. That is why many shops use both, keeping a marketplace storefront to reach new buyers and moving repeat customers and live sales to their own channels. The most direct way to decide is to take your real GP rate from Seller Center, run it through the table above, and compare the result with the plan cost of closing that share of orders yourself.
Frequently asked questions
What percentage does TikTok Shop take?
With commission, transaction fees and service fees combined, GP on TikTok Shop and other marketplaces usually comes to roughly 22–30% of the sale. The real rate depends on category, campaign and the platform's policy at the time. Check your shop's rate in TikTok Shop Seller Center.
How do I calculate GP per order?
Multiply the order amount by your shop's total GP rate. For example, a 1,000 baht order at 26% means 260 baht in GP and 740 baht received by the shop. Then subtract product cost, packaging and any shipping you pay to get your real profit.
Do I pay GP when selling through my own lives with CF-Shops?
There is no marketplace GP, because your shop closes the orders and receives the money in its own account. What you pay is a CF-Shops plan: Credit S at 1,070 baht pay per use, Monthly at 2,899 baht with unlimited items, or Yearly at 21,999 baht. No setup fee, and a free 7-day trial.
Should I leave TikTok Shop completely?
Not necessarily. Marketplaces help new people find your products, so most shops use both: keep the storefront to reach new customers, and move repeat buyers and live sales to your own channels to reduce the share taken as GP.
